By signing in to Patina you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

Patina helps you keep track of car repairs: cars, parts, costs, receipts and photos, plus links to search for parts in online shops. It is provided by Patina. Contact: hello@patinaservice.com.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep that mailbox safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your data

What you put in is yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy page. Upload only receipts and photos you have the right to use, and avoid personal data of other people (for example, a customer's name on a receipt) beyond what you need.

Please do not

• break the law, or upload anything unlawful or harmful (malware, for example);
• try to reach other users' data, overload the service, or bypass its limits;
• copy the service's data in bulk or scrape it.

Information is a guide, not a guarantee

Part fitment information (from other users' purchases or from catalogues), engine data and shop search results can be wrong or out of date. Always check that a part fits your car before you buy or fit it. Costs, VAT and profit figures are simple sums of what you entered and are not accounting, tax or legal advice. Shops linked from Patina are independent; we do not control their prices, stock or conduct.

Availability

We try to keep Patina running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may change, pause or have errors. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Price

Patina is free to use at the moment. If we introduce charges, we will tell you well in advance, and you can ask us to delete your account instead of paying.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss or for loss caused by wrong part information, and our total liability for a claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it (nothing, while the service is free). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Patina and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or harms the service or other users.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if the change matters, we will tell you before it applies. Estonian law applies, without taking away the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.
